Description

Made of modified citrus pectin, Herx Calm provides full-body rejuvenation support that benefits your cells, cardiovascular system, detoxification pathways, and immune system function.

As you age, cells, tissues and organs begin to deteriorate. The modified citrus pectin of Herx Calm is proven to effectively help prevent this deterioration, making it an essential part of your daily routine.

With its immune-modulating abilities, Herx Calm helps bring balance to an overactive immune system. It encourages a healthy inflammation response with its ability to block galectin-3, supporting your body’s joints, nerves, and kidneys.

Herx Calm is also cardioprotective. It effectively protects blood vessels and the heart, promoting healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels and aiding other functions of the heart.

Another benefit of Herx Calm is its ability to detoxify the body from heavy metals without draining it of essential minerals. This product is especially beneficial for patients with high mercury, lead, and arsenic levels.

Why We Love Herx Calm for my Lyme patients: Nerve and joint inflammation relief

Over the years, this product has become my number one, go-to Herx and detox support for patients with Lyme and Bartonella. I was at a conference and heard about this product years ago. The research on it looked interesting, particularly for my patients, so I decided to look into it more.

Herx Calm helps to reduce an inflammatory cytokine named galectin-3. Galectin-3 has been shown to be linked to both arthritic pain in joints and neurological inflammation. Because it can help with inflammation for both joint pain and nerve damage, this is often extremely helpful for patients with tickborne illness.

Not only does this have inflammation-reducing properties, but it also features detoxification help for a variety of chemicals. A product that helps with inflammation and detoxification? I thought, “Wow. This could be beneficial on several factors.”

If that wasn’t good enough…another study blew my mind for helping reduce Herxing.

I came across a study showing how inflammation rises when exposed to LPS. LPS is the part of the bacteria cell wall that is released from gram-negative bacteria, like Lyme or Bartonella, when they die. When you are on a protocol to kill Lyme or Bartonella, the cells explode and release the LPS. Your immune system sees that free LPS, creates more inflammation, and you get an increase in symptoms.

This study measured inflammation and used Pectasol C, another comparable modified citrus pectin product. When exposed to the same LPS, it showed the inflammation response was greatly reduced. The modified citrus pectin in Herx Calm was shown to help control that inflammation effect in the presence of LPS, which means it can help reduce Herx reactions.

Overall, this has been the best product I have ever used to reduce the Herx effect, particularly for Lyme and Bartonella patients.
