The NutriRestore SIBO Starter Kit is the first kit in the SIBO bundle. We find the best success when first addressing the underlying dysbiosis/imbalance (if present).

The NutriRestore SIBO Defense Kit is the second and final kit in the SIBO bundle (if the NutriRestore SIBO with Leaky Gut Kit wasn’t purchased). We have worked to improve the dysbiosis (imbalance between the good and bad bacteria/microbes in the gut) from completing the NutriRestore SIBO Starter Kit and are now onto the final step to keep the gut content and happy! We do this by trying to maintain optimal function in the gut. A healthy diet/lifestyle that works for you, taking some basic supplements that help reinforce a healthy microbiome/gut flora and optimizing the digestion of our food is a simple, but effective, strategy for most.

Dosage - SIBO Starter Kit

  • Ultra Oregano: Take 2 tablets, 2 times per day with food.
  • Bio Flora: Take 3 capsules once daily with or without food. Needs to be taken at least 1 hour away from Ultra Oregano.
  • Pomegranate Complex: Take 1 capsule, 2 times per day with or without food.
  • Ultra Enzymes: Take 1 capsule 10-15 minutes prior to each meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

This product is a spore-based, broad-spectrum probiotic formula designed to promote a healthy gut microflora, protect mucosal integrity, and relieve small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Each capsule provides key Bacillus spore- forming probiotic strains that remain in a dormant protective state in the harsh gastrointestinal environment yet become active on target to colonize and recondition the gut. This product is a comprehensive blend of acid-resistant, plant-based enzymes designed to help maximize the digestion and absorption of nutrients from food. Each capsule includes lipase, amylase, lactase, CereCalase® and protease to aid in the digestion of protein, fat, starches, fiber and other difficult to digest foods known to cause food sensitivities. CereCalase®, a special blend of hemicellulase, beta-glucanase and phytase, is specially formulated to digest the cell walls of plants, providing better nutrition from a plant-based diet. This product also contains gentian root, a traditional bitter herb as well as artichoke, a natural choleretic, added to stimulate the body’s natural production of enzymes and bile.

How do I know when these supplements are helping me?

We encourage you to use our Progress Tracker to monitor your symptoms over the course of the first few months. This can help give you a more clear picture of your progress.

How long do I take these supplements for while on the program?

3-6 months is the average amount of time people are on the bundle(s). Although, many people use these supplements ongoing, we suggest you always consult with your licensed healthcare provider for medical advice if you plan on using the supplements long-term or more than 6 months.

Are there any supplements I should stop taking while on your SIBO program?

The most common supplements people with SIBO have a difficult time tolerating are fiber and probiotic supplements. If there are questions in regards to potential interactions with other medications or supplements, always consult with your licensed healthcare provider for medical advice.

Can SIBO be dangerous if left unaddressed?

Yes, if the root cause isn’t addressed, it can lead to other symptoms, conditions and nutritional deficiencies.

Are there any side effects to taking these products?

If you are sensitive to supplements/herbs or have microbial overgrowth, you could experience side effects from mainly the Ultra Oregano. The Ultra Oregano can contribute to a Herxheimer or detox response. This is when a microbe like bacteria is killed off by something like Ultra Oregano and then the immune system comes to clean up the debris. In this process, a normal inflammatory response happens and is the first stage of healing. Common Herx/detox symptoms are general nausea, fatigue, headaches, neck pain, irritability, mood swings, gastrointestinal bloating, flu-like symptoms, constipation and/or diarrhea for the first 1-2 weeks while on the products.

Can I eat whatever I want during or after your SIBO program?

You will have specific dietary suggestions for the first 3 months and then dietary suggestions after the first 3 months are complete. Without thorough individual testing, these suggestions are based on what we feel has worked best over several years of experience. Without applying the diet, there’s a much less chance of seeing the results you were hoping for.

What happens if I miss a round of supplements? Should I take twice as much next time?

No. The suggestions that you receive are just based on a single day. If a day is missed, the suggestion is to take the same daily dose the following day.

If I take these supplements all at once, will it make a difference?

The suggested dosage and timing of each product is mentioned in the instructions . It is important to take these products in the way that they are suggested and to follow the instructions.

Should I stay well hydrated while on this protocol?

Yes! Hydration is very important for overall health, in general. For gut health, it is also very important because hydration mainly impacts the colon/large intestine and makes the stool soft enough to be able to have normal bowel movements. There are several things that can impact gut health, but hydration is one of them.

Should I stop drinking alcohol during the SIBO Program?

Yes, alcohol can feed the bacteria or other microbes in the gut and also can promote intestinal permeability or leaky gut.

Should these supplements be refrigerated? Or stored at room temp?
